Who is Tourdesk Search for?
Independent US travel advisors, small agencies, and advisors working through a host agency who need a consistent search, comparison, and proposal workflow.
Is this a consumer booking marketplace?
No. It is an authenticated B2B advisor workspace. The public surface is limited to advisor-created proposals and intake forms.
How are identical hotels matched?
Verified provider mappings come first. Automatic candidates require the same city and country, a strong normalized-name match, and close coordinates. Low-confidence cases stay separate for review.
What happens when one provider fails?
Other results remain available. The failed source gets a generic partial or unavailable status; raw endpoint errors are not shown to advisors.
Are build-your-own trips supplier packages?
No. They are estimates across normalized components and may require several provider checkouts. The interface labels the number of links and any missing mandatory fees.
Can AI change a price or invent baggage?
No. AI can extract a client brief, draft explanations, or summarize selected normalized fields. It cannot create inventory facts, URLs, availability, or contract policy.
